Donald Trump is launching a new social media network, called TRUTH Social to "stand up to the tyranny of big tech", in response to being silenced by big tech during the election.
Trump was banned from Twitter and Facebook by the thought police after the peaceful protest on January 6th. Last year Twitter and Facebook began deleting some of his posts and labeling them as misleading. Twitter and Facebook should not be in the business of determining the truth and they irresponsibly disrupted the flow of factual information for their own political agenda during an election.
An early version of his latest venture, TRUTH Social, will be open to invited guests next month, and will have a "nationwide rollout" within the first three months of 2022, according to a statement by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG).
"We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favourite American President has been silenced," wrote Mr Trump.
