Tavis Tritt Joins the Resistance and Cancels Shows at Venues With Covid Passports

Travis Tritt has joined the resistance canceled shows at venues requiring masks, proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or a negative test. Many other artists have done the same. He will be cancelling four upcoming shows in Muncie, Indiana; Philadelphia, Mississippi; Peoria, Illinois; and Louisville, Kentucky. Tritt said he has been vocal against mandates from the beginning and supports those who are "taking a firm stand" against them.

“I’m putting my money where my mouth is and announcing that any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated,"

"This is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to stand up for the freedoms that generations of Americans have enjoyed for their entire lifetimes," Tritt said.

He apologized for any inconvenience and said his team will try to reschedule to unrestricted venues as soon as they can.
